BECC Hosts On the Farm with Families Program

Students and families from the Brooklyn Early Childhood Center enjoyed a memorable time of farm-themed activities and games, including live animals on Thursday, October 15, 2026. This year’s On the Farm with Families program featured an expanded offering of activity stations including arts and crafts, farm-themed photo station, pony races featuring colorful cowboy hats and inflatable stick horses, and the chance to make a corn shaker filled with popcorn kernels. Students and their special guests also enjoyed an assortment of fall-themed treats including apple nachos with various dips and toppings such as marshmallows and syrups, apple cider, and more! After enjoying the indoor activities, students and special guests walked to the nearby Hurricane Alley parking lot where they enjoyed viewing and petting farm animals such as chickens, bunnies, and a pig courtesy of Bring the Farm to You, along with a fun scavenger hunt.
