Board Games Provide Connecting Point for BHS Seniors and Elementary Students

A new weekly initiative is providing seniors from Brooklyn High School with a wonderful opportunity to engage with and encourage younger students at Brooklyn School. On Thursday mornings, participating seniors visit the Brooklyn School cafeteria to play board games, complete puzzles, and other hands-on activities with students in grades 1-4 as they wait to be dismissed to homeroom at 8:30 am. Each weekly gathering provides a fun way for students at different grade levels to connect while promoting Hurricane pride. Thank you to our participating seniors for taking the time to interact with and serve as positive role models for our Brooklyn School students!
